The Assyrian Universal Alliance delegation, Mr. Ninoos Benjamin, Deputy Secretary General, and Mr. Joe Rasho AUA Americas Chapter Secretariat, met with Ms. Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman, representative of the Kurdish Regional Government to the United States of America on July 16, 2021, in Washington DC. At that meeting the Assyrian Universal Alliance delegation brought to the attention of the KRG representative the recent bombing of the Assyrian villages in Barwar and Nohla area, the high rate of unemployment and related issues confronted by the Assyrian people that reside in the semi-autonomous Kurdistan region of the Federal republic of Iraq.
