AUA Aid to Assyrians of Northern Iraq

The Assyrian Universal Alliance is pleased to report that six trucks carrying nearly one hundred and ten tons of food and supplies dispatched from Iran have successfully reached the Assyrian communities in North Iraq.  This is the second aid package that has been delivered to Iraq through the efforts of the AUA in the past two months.  The much-needed supplies are being distributed directly to the poverty- and war-stricken Assyrian families of the region.

 The distribution of the food and supplies has been organized through the joint efforts of all the local Assyrian relief organizations in North of Iraq.  AUA Homeland Regional Secretary Mr. Edwin Babela, part of the convoy along with Mr. Albert Badal and Mr. Yosip BetKolia are overseeing the distribution of supplies.
