A delegation representing AUA participated in a conference that was held by The Liberal Democratic Union of Europe and the UNPO , between 11-13 of December in Brussels / Belgium.

AUA was represented by the Mr. Younatan Betkolia, AUA Secretary General and the Assyrians and Armenians representative in Iran's parliament - , Mr. Shimmon Hadad , Secretary of Europe and Ms. Khawa Michael.

Mr. Bekolia spoke of our people that are subjected to many wrongs due to their identity and religion by forces of evil and expiatory which they aspire to burning and blowing churches, killings and forced displacement of our people in Iraq and the city of Mosul which they were forced to Nineveh plains and the neighboring countries, Mr. Betkolia asked the International community to protect and secure the presence of our people in Iraq.

شارك وفدا من الاتحاد الأشوري العالمي في المؤتمر الذي عقده الاتحاد الليبرالي والديمقراطي الأوربي
ومنظمة الأمم والشعوب غير الممثلة بتاريخ 11-13 كانون الثاني في البرلمان الأوربي في مدينة بروكسل البلجيكية وقد مثل الوفد سكرتير ألاتحاد وممثل الأشوريين والارمن في البرلمان الأيراني السيد يوناتن بيت كوليا والسيد شليمون حداد سكرتير الاتحاد فرع أوربا والسيدة خاوا ميخائيل . وتحدث السيد يوناتن عما يتعرض له أبناء شعبنا من مظالم بسبب هويته وانتمائه الديني من قبل القوى الظلامية والتكفيرية والتي استهدفت وجوده بحرق وتفجير الكنائس وعمليات القتل والتهجير القسري التي مرست بحق ابناء شعبنا في العراق ومدينة الموصل والتي ادت الى نزوحهم الى سهل نينوى والى دول الجوار وطالب المجتمع الدولي بحماية وتامين تواجد ابناء شعبنا في العراق
